JYPS Parent Support Group (PSG) was formed in 1998, consisting of about 20 parent volunteers. When it was started, the objective of the PSG was to assist in the planning and implementation of school programmes and activities that will help create a joyful and caring environment for teaching and learning.
Through the years, the PSG has grown in size and to date has a member strength of about 50 parents. The role of the PSG has evolved over the years from manning programmes and supporting activities to include organizing events, such as our annual Teachers' Day Celebration.
Mission: To be active partners of the school in nurturing its pupils to be leaders of character, and inspiring them to make a difference
Vision: A team of nurturing and dedicated parent volunteers who collaborate actively with the school in creating a vibrant and gracious learning community
Why Join PSG?
As a PSG member, besides working with the school as partners to provide a holistic education for our pupils, PSG members can also look forward to developmental workshops organized especially for them.
PSG members will also be able to network with other parents and make new friends.
