CCA Department
 
Tagline: Seek, Strive & Excel
The aim of the CCA department is to cultivate in every pupil a passion and lifelong pursuit for the Sports and Arts. To achieve this, the department intends to nurture their talents by providing them with opportunities for them to strive and excel. This nurturing process will be marked with enriching lessons in character building and resilience, lifeskills and leadership.
 
CCA Niche
 
In Sports, the school has done well in Volleyball and Sepak Takraw in the East Zone Competition. For the past 5 years(2005 - 2009), it has finished in the top 3 positions consecutively in both the Junior and Senior divisions.The school was awarded its 1st Susutained Achievement Award in Sports in 2008 and is in line to receive its 2nd one in 2009.
 
In Aesthetics, the school has done well in Choir, Chinese Dance and Malay Dance. In the last SYF Competition in 2008 , it achieved a Silver for Choir and Chinese Dance and an inaugural Silver for its Malay Dance. In 2007, the school was awarded its 1st Susutained Achievement Award in Aesthetics in 2007and is in line to receive its 2nd one in 2009.

THAF - Total Health & Fitness
THAF illustrates the PE Department's stand in promoting a healthy lifestyle among pupils and staff. The THAF programme is a comprehensive holistic programme which addresses the needs of all pupils whether they are obese, underweight or of normal weight. It also addresses the social and mental health needs of pupils. The programme is also in line with the Holistic Health Framework introduced in 2007 by MOE and HPB. As part of the school's efforts in promoting health among its pupils and staff it was awarded a Silver for CHERISH in 2006 and 2008.

Talent Identification Programme (TIP)
The objective of this programme is to identify potential athletes for the Sports/Games CCAs .During Talent Identification Day, stations are set-up for pupils who are tested for the various fundamental skills involved in the selected Sports/Games. They are also assessed for speed and agility. Selected pupils would then be trained and would eventually represent the school in both the Zonal and National Primary school tournaments.
